Leading Lives of Purpose, Passion & Power
Friday 7.30 - 9.30 pm
Are you feeling drawn to making a difference in your life and in the world? Looking for inspiration and insights for creating and being the change you are committed to? In this workshop we will explore how to take the gifts and tools available through the yoga practice and apply them towards making a difference in the world and in our own lives.
Come prepared to sweat & burn, meditate & bloom!
The teachings will revolve around the Bhagavad Gita, one of the most important texts for yoga practitioners. The Gita offers us advice on elementary questions such as life purpose, unconditional love and ultimate freedom.
Our special guest Jahnavi Harrison will lullaby us in Shavasana with her cellestical voice and lead us into a bliss-filled kirtan towards the end of the class. A perfect start into a weekend!
Be Love, Radiate Love
Saturday 9.30 - 12.30 am
Join us for an exploration of how asana and Bhakti practices are inextricably linked. Asana as shape making is not yoga. Breath control within asana is not yoga. Mind control is not yoga. Yoga results from enquiring into the very depths of being human. This enquiry will slowly but inevitably lead us to the core of who we are and what life is all about: Love.
Bhakti means love. Love is the most magical, exciting and beautiful feeling that we are capable of experiencing. This workshop will show you how to stop looking for love in all the wrong places and instead become love itself.
Join us for a vigorous yet heart-centered asana practice with focus on the Bhagavad Gita teachings to an uplifting soundtrack as well as chanting. Our special guest Jahnavi Harrison, an extraordinary musician and Bhakti Yogini will tell a few beautiful bhakti stories and lead a magical Sound Bath. This workshop will leave you radiating Love and Joy which is your true nature and the essential goal of ALL yoga practices.
Remember Who You Are
Saturday 2 - 5 pm
From the moment we are born we start forgetting our true nature and the bliss of Oneness. Taught and trained to believe only in materiality, we start creating our identity based on limited form, name, or belonging to a group that acts and looks like ourselves. We then spend most of our lives defending the false identity.
Through different yoga practices while focusing on twists, hips and forward bends we will reverse the process by forgetting our limited form and remembering who we are. Remembering our vastness and innate goodness, our ability to burn with love, to pulse with passion, to courageously sit in the fire until everyone is free. Our special guest Jahnavi Harrison will give some insights on the teachings form the Bhagavad Gita and lead a bliss-filled kirtan.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
