Giving Thanks

Looking towards the New Year filled with gratitude for all the adventures & challenges that made me the woman I am today. I am deeply grateful for this uplifting sangha i.e. community we have here online. Internet and social media can become a distraction or addiction, but they can also become a vortex of love and support if we make it that.

 

The Attitude of Gratitude is the magic formula for attracting abundance into our lives. It is a profound yogic practice and the antidote for any sense of lack. In the presence of gratitude you cannot feel hopeless, anxious or inadequate. And let’s be honest, we all face these feelings on a regular basis. It is a conscious choice, an attitude towards life that determines our destiny. Actively thanking for all the things we have in our daily practice of asana, meditation, prayer or journaling means cultivating santosha or contentment, one of the essentials qualities on a yogic path. It literally has saved my life numerous times.

 

I'd genuinely like to express my heartfelt gratitude for each and every one of you. My life is incredibly blessed because of you and all you've brought to my experience. The way you show up on this path we share has inspired me in countless ways. I surely would not be able to continue teaching or contribute in any way without you giving me a reason by showing up to my classes , each time offering new questions, new answers, new ways to grow and learn, love and serve. I feel honored to have witnessed the unfolding of some of your lives in the past 17ish years and I look forward to many more lifetimes to come.

 

I am also beyond grateful for the gift of motherhood that made me leave my comfort zone like nothing else before and at the same time gave me more joy than words can express. As of January 13 I'm back to teaching my Saturday class 12.30 at Jivamukti Munich and my 2018 workshops and retreats schedule is now online.
